Why can I not see the full website when I use my mobile phone?

What languages are supported on workhealthlife.com?

English and French.

Why do I see a different phone number on the site than what is on my EFAP brochure?

When you arrive to the site, you are in guest view; therefore, the phone number displayed may be different than what you see on you EAP brochures and/or other promotional materials. Please register and log in on the site to see your organization’s specific phone number and services available.

Can I join Morneau Shepell’s mailing lists on the site?

Yes, employees, family members and the general public can join our various mailing lists by clicking on the envelope icon under the Stay in Touch in the right-hand rail area on the site. Additionally, mailing list subscription is available for employees and family members under My Profile. You can subscribe and unsubscribe to our mailing lists at any time.

Is the Wellness Calendar on the site?

Yes, the annual Calendar available in guest view on the homepage in an area designated for “special content”. Please scroll down to see the entry with button to view or download.

What if I experience a technical issue while in the site?

We have a Tech Support FAQ and form available on the site.

Are the professional services of Morneau Shepell’s Children’s Support Solutions available as part of my Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)?

No. All professional services of Morneau Shepell’s Children’s Support Solutions are fee for service and not included in your Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Some fees may be covered by health insurance plans and/or government assistance. Please contact us for more information. Morneau Shepell, your Employee and Family Assistance Program provider, is a brand of Morneau Shepell.

What is an Online Program?

Online Programs are self-contained interactive web sites with assessments, articles, tools, videos, quizzes, and more. Some Online Programs include a coaching component. Our Online Programs are:

When will I begin to see my Online Program(s) under My Activity?

Cases booked for Online Stress Management, Online Enhancing Your Relationship, Online Separation and Divorce and Fitness Coach Connects will be accessible from the My Activity page beginning December 6, 2013.  

Please note that Online Financial Planning Service and Online Smoking Cessation will remain separate to workhealthlife/My Activity until further notice.

How long will my Online Program(s) be visible under My Activity after completed?

If the Online Program has expired for six months and you have not re-accessed the Program (it has been inactive for six months), the Online Program will disappear from My Activity page (we offer a six month window to re-access). At this point, you can use Online Access or contact the Care Access Centre to open a new case.  

Will the direct urls for the Online Programs remain active (e.g. Online Enhancing Your Relationship Program can be accessed directly via:  www.enhancingyourrelationships.com)?

Yes, the direct urls will remain active.

Manager Area

What is the Manager Area?

This area is designed to support managers, supervisors and other people leaders by providing specific and relevant information and services to assist in managing and leading healthy workplaces and teams.  

What are the key features and functionality of the Manager Area?

The Manager Area provides a secure and confidential area to: 

  • Learn more about health and wellness, in the workplace and personal life.
  • Understand how the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help them to support employees.
  • Find support for themselves in their role as a manager.
  • Enhance skills needed to succeed as a people leader.
  • Access Manager Consultations 24/7/365 for professional assistance with sensitive employee and workplace situations.
  • Book services that have been designed for managers and workplaces such as Workplace Learning Solutions.
  • Manager Orientation video series available to view anytime.
  • Toggle between the Manager Area and employee view for full access to all site capabilities, support and services that are available to the user in both roles.

Is the People Leader Guide available on the site?

Yes, it is available for view/download in the Manager Area on the site.

I am a manager and have logged in, but cannot see the Manager Area – why?

You must identify yourself as a manager during site registration. You can update/change your role at any time under My Profile. Upon next log in, the Manager Area will be visible in the top navigation bar.

Do I need to obtain any kind of special authorization from my HR contact before I can access the Manager Area?

No. You will self-identify as a manager during the registration process.

I have a team member (or colleague) who has recently become a manager – can they access the Manager Area?

Yes, they can update/change their role any time in My Profile. Upon next log in, the Manager Area will be visible in the top navigation bar.

Can I still use HR Fundamentals?

All content has been transferred over to the Manager Area with the exception of the poll question. Please note: HR Fundamentals will no longer be updated.

Forum

Is the Forum publicly accessible?

Anyone can view the Forum activity, but only registered members can post. Registered members are defined as eligible EAP clients who have created a workhealthlife.com Profile and a Forum Profile.
